Every time a user accesses a webpage hosted by Forschungszentrum GmbH and every time a file is requested, data connected to these processes are stored in a log. These data do not contain personal information; we are unable to trace which user accessed what information. Personal user profiles therefore cannot be created. The data that is saved will be used for statistical purposes only. This information will not be disclosed to third parties.

We use only technical cookies. These are text files that are stored on your computer but that do not contain any personal data and only store the status of system login, i.e. these cookies are used to transfer the logged-in status. Their lifetime is restricted to one session.

Our website uses the Matomo (formerly Piwik) web analytics platform. Matomo uses cookies to analyse how a website is used. To this end, the usage information generated by the cookies (including your abbreviated IP address) is transferred to our server and saved in order to analyse usage behaviour, which enables us to optimize our website. During this process, your IP address is immediately made anonymous so that you, as a user, remain anonymous. The information about your behaviour on our website generated by the cookies is not passed on to third parties.
