The powerful international initiative “Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC)“ is working for more equality, diversity, and inclusion in the HPC community. Forschungszentrum Jülich supports the mission of this network with the first German Chapter “Jülich Women in HPC (JuWinHPC)“.
The group’s main goal is to strengthen the local community of female researchers involved in HPC.
Ruth, Anna, Claire and Cristina (four of JuWinHPC’s board members) regularly share their experiences related to their work in the HPC community, reporting on the successes or difficulties of certain career strategies, but also on personal challenges such as balancing work and family.
